Las Fotos Is Helping LA Teens Change Their Relationship with Social Media


With the world just a few clicks and taps away, tweens and teens can continually access unfiltered content, altering how they view the world, their interpersonal relationships, and, ultimately, themselves. 

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services found that teens and tweens who spend more than 3 hours a day on social media are twice as likely to experience depression and anxiety. On average, U.S. teens spend 4.8 hours on various social media platforms.
