In many spaces, the Latinx community is still making history. Whether we’re the first in our families to go to college or the first to win a prestigious prize, we oftentimes have to blaze trails. For this project, we worked with Wells Fargo to highlight inspiring members of our community that have made history on their own, whether by creating an app that helps undocumented students find scholarships or combining Garinagu dances with aerobics, we showcased the many ways in which Latinxs are uplifting their communities, all while doing something truly unique.

As the editorial lead, I found all the people we featured on Remezcla.com. I also assigned, wrote and edited the pieces, which all exceeded expectations. We were able to over deliver on this campaign because we chose an interesting mix of individuals.
